The Art Institute is a media arts, design, and culinary arts post-secondary school that offers bachelor's and associate's degrees. Program Advisory Committees and more than 100 faculty members include working professionals who bring a real-world perspective, work setting and industry standards into the classroom.
Programs are offered on a year-round basis and are reviewed by faculty and industry professionals to ensure they meet the needs of a changing marketplace. The school partners with national and local employers to help ensure an education that benefits both students and employers.

Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design
A 21-month program, the Associate's degree in Graphic Design teaches students the fundamentals of graphic design. Exploring topics such as media design, marketing, and 2-D and 3-D design, students use page layout programs, image manipulation and computer illustration to master design skills.
In addition to these subjects, students of this program also explore typography, color theory, visual processes, and business skills critical to the graphic arts field. Upon graduation, students are prepared for entry-level positions in publishing, advertising, television and motion pictures, and architecture.
Associate of Applied Science in Web Design & Interactive Media
Preparing graduates to seek employment as a web designer, web developer, or interactive designer, the AAS in Web Design & Interactive Media program begins with the basics of design.
After mastering drawing, composition, color theory and perspective, students will learn computer graphics, animation, sound and video production, and other techniques of the industry. Also learning business and professional skills, graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment in the industry.
Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design
The Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design degree coursework includes the basics of color and design, drawing, drafting, and the fundamentals of perspective and space planning. In addition, students of this program will study rendering and architectural detailing. Upon graduation, students will be prepared for entry-level positions in the interior design industry.
