Associate's Degree - Graphic Design
Available at Hesser College as an Associate's Degree program, the graphic design curriculum focuses on a comprehensive and well-balanced approach that prepares students for entry-level employment in this growing job field. Coursework is hands-on, and includes training in printing techniques, production techniques, QuarkXpress, advertising & marketing design, illustration, typography, web design, desktop publishing, electronic presentations, history of design, and basic design principles. In addition, students will learn about color, typography, the foundations of design, and industry-standard electronic equipment (including training on Macintosh and PC computer systems.
Associate's Degree - Interior Design
The Interior Design program at Hesser College's Nashua campus is available in an Associate's Degree format. Taking courses in textiles, color concepts, computer-aided design, and drafting for interiors, students of the Associate's Degree in Interior Design program will learn how to layout, create, and produce sales pieces. Creating ambiance and atmosphere, students will learn how to gain recognition in this rapidly expanding internet-based design field.
