Associates in Multimedia Technologies Program

With an Associates Degree in Multimedia Technologies, student will be prepared to work in digital design and animation as well as web design fields. Graphic design jobs are projected to increase faster than the average for other jobs, but competition is also predicted to rise. Rasmussen College graduates will have an advantage when entering the work world.

Rasmussen’s two year digital design program provides quality instruction and plenty of hands-on experience. There are two concentrations from which students can choose: 3D Animation or Web Design.

3D Animation students learn to create models for 3D animations, properly light 3D applications, and how to use a 3D camera. Students create a portfolio that will be integral in getting a job upon graduation. Possible careers include technical director, animator, story board artist, special effects artist, texture artist, and more.

Web Design students will be able to work with electronic media to create images with photography, animation, fonts/types, colors, sounds, and feel. This program prepares students for jobs in diverse areas, such as web designer, web developer, graphic artist, graphic specialist, web publications designer, design director, and production manager
