It was originally two separate schools (Globe College and Minnesota School of Business) that operated along the same general career preparation lines. Globe College was founded in 1885 and Minnesota School of Business opened its doors in 1877. The focus has always been on preparing graduates for employment in cutting-edge professional fields. An Associated of Applied Science program, the Music Business major at Globe University focuses on the skills that graduates will need in order to successfully negotiate with managers, artists, record companies, and film companies. Equipping students with the skills needed in order to supervise recording projects, and portray a professional business image, the Music Business program will prepare graduates to seek entry-level employment at record labels, radio stations, production houses, and TV stations.
