Bachelor of Fine Arts - Game Design
The Bachelor degree program in Game Design is designed to provide training in principles and techniques used to create interactive 2D and 3D computer games. Students can learn design software, programming languages, modeling and animation skills, networking principles, level and world editors, and game engines used to design and develop games, and will examine market research and business concepts related to game production and distribution processes. Project management, creative design, and communication skills are integrated throughout this dynamic curriculum designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the game design industry.
Associate of Fine Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts - Fashion Design
A 12, 11-week quarter program, the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design establishes a strong foundation in computer skills and traditional design, while developing the skills of problem solving, in addition to the theories of graphic design. As part of this program, students will learn to design, produce and deliver effective and creative design concepts. From media design, marketing, 2-D and 3-D design, to computer illustration, image manipulation, web programming and page layout programs, students of this program will have the skills necessary to gain entry-level employment in the field of graphic design.
Bachelor of Fine Arts - Digital Media
Available at IADT - Detroit as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program, the Digital Media curriculum is designed to prepare graduates for positions such as a web designer, audio/video engineer, streaming media specialist, multimedia developer, or digital media authoring specialist. In addition to learning about digital media design, students of the BFA - Digital Media degree program will learn about web design, creative design, project management, interface design, and audio/video editing.
Bachelor of Fine Arts - Graphic Design
This program combines ideas, application, and technology. Graphic design is used to sell products and services through branding, packaging and advertising. At IADT, students have the opportunity to use electronic technology while incorporating the basic theories of layout, advertising, type, illustration and color. Students learn to become visual problem solvers and perfect their skills in litigation graphics, web design and digital imaging and modeling.
Bachelor of Fine Arts - Interior Design
IADT - Detroit is pleased to offer prospective students a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree program. Learning how to increase productivity and the quality of life of the client, graduates of the BFA in Interior Design program at IADT will explore issues from health and safety in design for the public, to specialized training that can give you the edge with prospective employers.
