DuPage Graphic Design SchoolOriginally known as the Denver Institute of Technology, Westwood College was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1953. Over the years, Westwood College has grown and now offers degree programs in Design, Business, Computer & Information Technology, Healthcare and Industrial Services. Associate's Degree - Graphic Design & Multimedia

This program prepares students for entry-level jobs in the graphic design and multimedia industry. The program teaches students how to create designs that visually communicate in both print and multimedia environments. Both technical and general education courses help students to develop skills in logic, critical thinking, problem solving, and general communication. Graduates are prepared for positions as production artists, graphic designers, Web page designers, and multimedia designers.

Upon graduation from the program, students should be able to create and design web sites, prepare digital files for pre-press, create illustrations and layouts using software, build a portfolio, create and animate 3D objects, create presentations using story boards and hand-rendered layouts, and professionally communicate graphic design concepts.

Bachelor of Science - Animation

A Bachelor's degree program, the Animation curriculum at Westwood College is designed to give students the specialized training needed in order to become a part of this exciting career field. The Animation program focuses on combining visual effects with live action, modeling skin, bone and other features, learning how to add animated lifelike motions. In addition, students will learn how to use industry-standard digital media equipment, and design software.

Bachelor of Science - Interior Design
