Programs of Study
Associate of Science in Graphic Design
This program provides students with the tools needed to get an entry level job in the graphic design field. Students learn the skills to create design work with style by using print, film and electronic media. Using the latest software, students learn how to develop overall layout and design in publications that include magazines, newspapers and corporate reports.
Students also are trained in environmental graphics for business and government where they develop signs and signage systems. Students interested in becoming a graphic designer or desktop publisher in a modern business environment, will be interested in this program.
This is a two year program. While in the process of completing course requirements, students also build a professional portfolio to use in landing their first job as a graphic designer, illustrator, artist, desktop publisher or cartoonist.
