Laurus College, whose name comes from the Latin for “success,” was founded in 2006 and has sought to provide industry-current education in fields that are in demand in today’s world. They offer programs in 3D Animation, Business Applications, Computer Networking, Web Design, and more.

3D Animation Program
Laurus College offers a 3D Animation Certificate Program, which requires completion of 51 credit hours. Students learn the foundations of 3D animation, as well as character animation, rendering in animation, modeling, game creation, project management, and animation dynamics. Students learn business fundamentals, math skills, and presentation skills that are valuable to their future careers.
They will also create a professional portfolio that showcases their learning and skills and which will be immensely useful when meeting with prospective employers. The 3D Animation program also features extensive use of the program, Maya. This is the leading animation software available. Professional animators use this to bring their visions to life. Students will have an edge being familiar with and proficient at using Maya.
Web Design and Interactive Media
The Web Design program at Laurus College allows students to earn a professional certificate with the completion of 48 credit hours. This certificate prepares them for entry-level work as a web developer, web designer, or webmaster.
Web Design students use the best tools in the industry to learn the principles of web design, programming languages, movie and animation loading to the web, web page formatting, image development, graphics, and more.
