Graphic Design Student Orange CountyPrograms are offered on a year-round basis and are reviewed by faculty and industry professionals to ensure they meet the needs of a changing marketplace. Digital Photography

An Associate of Science program, the Digital Photography program at The Art Institute of California - Orange County is designed to equip graduates with the skills needed in order to become an in-house digital photographer, photographer, online photo image editor, production photographer, photo editor, production photographer, or Photoshop color operator. Beginning with the fundamentals of color and design, this program includes instruction on media skills, and culminates with the formation of an advertising campaign that includes various aspects of media, with the goal of moving an audience towards a desired action.

Visual Effects & Motion Graphics

Teaching the fundamentals of aesthetic and design awareness, the Bachelor of Science in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics degree will guide students in developing a portfolio to gain employment in the fields of compositing, visual effects, motion graphics, visual display, and corporate communication. Visual & Game Programming

In addition to learning ethical and aesthetic sensitivities, the Fashion Marketing and Management degree program is a balance of theory and real-world experience.

Interior Design

The blending of artistic designs with practical sensibility, the Bachelor of Science in Interior Design program is a 12, 11-week quarter program that teaches the fundamentals of the exciting profession of Interior Design. Focusing the design process, students of this program will study the histories of modern art and design, master computer-aided drafting programs, and create effective design solutions by studying ergonomics, lighting, building codes, acoustics, and furniture design. Upon graduation, students are prepared to seek entry-level employment as residential planners, junior designers, and project managers in interior design.

Industrial Design

Game Art & Design

Offering students the ability to create and design their own multimedia games, the Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design program studies the fundamentals of computer animation, character building, and architecture. A 12, 11-week quarter program, this degree will prepare students for entry-level positions as level designers, modelers, character animators, and texture artists.

Graphic Design

The Art Institute of California – Orange County is the first step toward a career in graphic design. Students can select from a two year Associate’s Degree or four year Bachelor’s Degree program. Students develop basic skills in design, illustration, painting, and typography, and are trained in creative problem solving and the ability to offer solutions that are successful in the business of commercial graphics.
