About Westwood College
Originally known as the Denver Institute of Technology, Westwood College was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1953. Over the years, Westwood College has grown and now offers degree programs in Design, Business, Computer & Information Technology, Healthcare and Industrial Services.

Originally founded in 1912, the city of Torrance was incorporated in 1921. Since then, Torrance has become a hub for national and international commerce. While oil derricks once dominated the landscape of Torrance, the city is now much more aesthetically pleasing. Still home to an ExxonMobil refinery, Torrance is responsible for much of Southern California's gas supply.
