Coleman College was founded in the 1960s as an institution that prepared students to enter the Information Age. It subsequently became a recognized leader in the technological revolution. Coleman has educated thousands of professionals and continually changes its course offerings as industry standards change.
The college's "inverted curriculum" offers your career training first. Following this curriculum, in only a few months students can be qualified for a computer-related career. The inverted curriculum offers students a certificate and the ability to start their careers. They can later return to Coleman for evening classes to complete an associate, bachelor's or a master's degree. Coleman maintains small classes to assist students in their studies and each entering class remains together throughout the "major" portion of their training.

Computer Graphic Design (CGD) Program
The Graphic Design program teaches the skills and provides the experience to start in this exciting career field. The program begins with an introduction to computer applications, and moves on to the fundamentals of drawing and graphic design.
Students quickly acquire advanced skills in designing and producing print materials and Web pages. Students also build a professional portfolio to take to potential employers upon graduation.

At Coleman College, students learn on state-of-the-art equipment. The college's goal is to prepare students for any challanges they may face in the job market and that includes offering the latest computer equipment on which students learn.
Included in the college's labs is a large number of computers including PC, Macintosh, midrange and mainframe. This equipment is updated regularly. Multiple computer platforms are interconnected via a switched Ethernet that provides students with highest level of experience on the most commonly-used computer systems found in business and industry.
Computer Museum
Coleman College is the home of the award winning Computer Museum of America. The museum houses a collection of important historical artifacts describing the history of the Computer. The museum has everything from punch card machines, to vacuum tube computers, to mainframes and microcomputers.
The Museum also houses the Coleman College Center, a community technology learning center that is open to children, seniors and the public. The Center offers, free of charge, a wide variety of beginner-level classes and special programs to those without computers in their homes.
