Animation, Game Design and Graphic Design Programs

Animation:

Collins' Computer Animation Training program prepares students for a career with a combination of technology and creative vision. The work is done in 3D, which brings characters and imagination to life with realistic motion. Students also develop their critical thinking skills to relate to space and time. In addition, students develop rendering and drawing skills which they then combine with writing and storytelling. This skill moves them on to advanced character modeling, which helps them achieve the knowledge and skills needed to enter the field of animation.

Game Design:

This program prepares imaginative students to be game designers who bring a game concept to life. This training can take them from game research and planning to content development, character development and storytelling. From there they can advance through level design, modeling, programming and project management. This program uses C++®, Java™, 3Ds max® and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Graphic Design:

Many skills go into mastering the graphic design program including color theory, typography, empirical design, digital production, and art direction. Students learn the skills of branding, advertising and packaging in addition to learning about commerce and art, communication, and how to become a visual problem solver.
