Computer Aided Drafting and Design Program

The two year Computer Aided Drafting and Design program lets students earn an Occupational Associate’s Degree. Students in the program become proficient with aspects of the design and manufacturing process, learning to make 2D designs and technical drawings, and 3D prototypes and models.

They also receive training in the CADD (computer aided design and drafting) field, which includes architectural and mechanical designs, as well as customization and programming. Students of the Computer Aided Drafting and Design program have access to all the tools and software that they will be using in their field.

Virginia College is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) at all of its campus locations.

Faculty and Facilities

The Mobile campus of Virginia College is small with under 800 students. Class sizes are also small, so faculty members can get to know their students personally.
